SUPPORT SCA

Get Involved

School Can’t Australia (SCA) is the largest national organisation supporting parents and carers of children experiencing school attendance difficulties.

We’ve built something remarkable through volunteer effort — supporting more than 17,000 families through peer support, practical resources, lived-experience advocacy, and systems change work.

There are many ways to get involved — from supporting our work through a tax-deductible donation, to joining our team, volunteering your skills, or helping advocate for systemic change.

YOU CAN HELP

You can also make a one-time contribution to support School Can’t Australia’s peer support, advocacy, resources, and systems change work.

Every donation helps strengthen the support families rely on.

Work with us

School Can’t Australia works with volunteers, contractors, lived-experience contributors, and project-based collaborators across a range of areas.

As SCA continues to grow, opportunities may include:

  • community and peer support roles,

  • administration and operations,

  • communications and content,

  • fundraising and partnerships,

  • research and advocacy,

  • project and systems development,

  • and governance or advisory contributions.

Some roles are voluntary and some are paid contract opportunities, depending on the needs and funding of the organisation.

If you’re interested in contributing to SCA’s work, we’d love to hear from you.
